Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Radiology Registrar to join our esteemed healthcare organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to our dynamic radiology team, delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services while fostering collaboration with consultants and multidisciplinary healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in diagnostic radiology, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a passion for advancing their expertise through subspecialty training. Preference will be given to candidates with a Radiology Subspecialty Fellowship or those currently pursuing one.

Core Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic Imaging & Reporting: Perform and interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, and Fluoroscopy, ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality radiology reports.
  • Collaborative Care: Work closely with Consultant Radiologists to report complex cases and support clinical decision-making for referring physicians across various specialties.
  • Quality & Safety Compliance: Adhere to radiation safety regulations, quality standards, and hospital policies to maintain the highest levels of patient safety and diagnostic precision.
  • Multidisciplinary Engagement: Actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise and assist junior medical staff, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth within the radiology department.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain meticulous medical documentation, ensuring all records are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid classification and registration as a Radiology Registrar with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • Completion of residency training in Diagnostic Radiology with a minimum of two years of postgraduate experience in the field.
  • Proven expertise in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, and emergency imaging, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills to facilitate seamless collaboration with colleagues and healthcare teams.
  • A strong commitment to continuous professional development, with a subspecialty fellowship (completed or in progress) being highly advantageous.
  • Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia, ensuring immediate availability and familiarity with local healthcare practices.
