Senior Business Analyst

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead and support critical digital transformation and enterprise technology initiatives within government agencies and large-scale organizations. Key Responsibilities

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for driving the success of high-impact projects by performing the following duties and responsibilities:

• Requirements Management: Lead the comprehensive gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation of business and functional requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with organizational goals. This includes facilitating stakeholder workshops, defining project objectives, and translating business needs into detailed specifications.
• Documentation and Process Optimization: Develop and maintain critical project artifacts such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and other essential documentation. Drive business process reengineering initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce redundancies, and improve overall operational performance.
• System Integration and API Expertise: Provide expert guidance on system integration projects by defining functional requirements and API integration specifications. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless interoperability between disparate systems and platforms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, quality assurance (QA), and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the successful delivery of solutions. Participate actively in solution design, testing phases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation activities to guarantee alignment with business objectives and user expectations.
• Methodology and Compliance: Contribute to projects delivered using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring adherence to organizational standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle to support auditability and compliance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders, facilitating clear communication, managing expectations, and resolving conflicts to drive project success. Serve as a liaison between business units and IT teams to foster a collaborative and solution-oriented environment.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of five years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on enterprise-level or digital transformation projects. Direct experience working with government organizations is mandatory, while prior involvement in the Real Estate sector is highly advantageous.
• Technical and Analytical Skills: In-depth knowledge of system integration, API specifications, business process reengineering, and robust requirements management practices. Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project methodologies is essential.
• Consulting and Communication: Demonstrated experience in consulting with government entities or large enterprises, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in both Arabic and English is required to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Certifications and Preferences: Professional certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) are highly preferred. Candidates holding these credentials will be given special consideration.
