Role Overview

The Planner plays a critical role in supporting the planning and execution of projects related to biosafety, cleanrooms, and contamination control. This full-time, on-site position is based in the Riyadh Region and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with client and accreditation requirements. The Planner will be responsible for developing detailed project schedules, coordinating with engineers and technical experts, monitoring progress, and preparing comprehensive status reports and documentation. Additionally, the role involves conducting risk assessments, optimizing resource allocation, and refining workflows to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, and a dedication to maintaining high standards in technical project execution within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using advanced tools such as Primavera P6 to ensure alignment with project milestones, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Track project performance through weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports, including dashboards, S-curves, and progress tracking metrics. Prepare and present accurate documentation to stakeholders.
• Resource and Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and recommend mitigation strategies. Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including engineers, technical experts, and project managers, as well as external clients, to ensure seamless project delivery and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous records of project activities, decisions, and compliance documentation to support audits and accreditation processes.
• Workflow Optimization: Analyze project workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and enhance overall project efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to roles within a contracting company.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 for project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring. Proficiency in MS Office and other project management software is advantageous.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess project risks, interpret data, and propose practical solutions to ensure project success.
• Organizational and Time-Management Skills: Capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision and efficiency.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients in a professional manner.
• Attention to Detail: Commitment to producing accurate reports, records, and planning materials to support project and compliance objectives.
• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare-related projects is highly desirable. A background in engineering, biosafety, cleanrooms, or contamination control is preferred.
• Work Environment: Ability to work on-site in the Riyadh Region and adapt to a technical, standards-driven environment.
