Key Responsibilities

As a Temenos Technical Consultant, you will play a central role in the design, development, and deployment of robust banking solutions. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Requirements Gathering and Translation: Collaborate closely with business analysts, project stakeholders, and end-users to elicit, analyze, and document technical requirements. Translate these requirements into actionable solutions within the Temenos environment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
• Technical Design and Development: Lead the design and development of technical specifications for Temenos applications, ensuring adherence to industry standards, security protocols, and best practices. Develop and customize Temenos modules to meet specific client needs while maintaining scalability and performance.
• System Integration and Configuration: Implement and configure Temenos modules, including T24 and Transact, to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and third-party applications. Address integration challenges and optimize data flow to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Quality Assurance and Testing: Conduct comprehensive unit testing, system testing, and integration testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of developed solutions. Identify and resolve defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations and industry standards.
• Technical Support and Performance Optimization: Provide ongoing technical support to clients and internal teams, troubleshooting complex issues and resolving application-related challenges. Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance application responsiveness and reliability.
• Knowledge Management and Training: Stay abreast of the latest Temenos platform enhancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Share insights and best practices with clients and team members through training sessions, workshops, and documentation to foster continuous learning and adoption.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution. Engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide strategic guidance on leveraging Temenos capabilities to achieve business goals.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving acumen, and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of five years of hands-on experience as a Technical Consultant, with a strong focus on Temenos products such as T24 and Transact.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of the Temenos Banking platform, including module customization, configuration, and integration. Strong programming skills in Java, SQL, and Temenos-specific scripting languages. Proficiency in APIs, middleware technologies, and banking sector integration frameworks.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Exceptional analytical skills to dissect complex technical challenges and devise effective solutions. Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and optimize system performance to meet business requirements.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Adaptability and Initiative: Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and drive projects to successful completion.
