Key Responsibilities and Impact

Reporting to the BHIG Engineering Manager, the Senior Process Engineer will oversee technical operations and projects from concept development through commissioning, ensuring alignment with global engineering standards and regional operational requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Technical Leadership and Expertise: Serve as the subject-matter expert (SME) for HYCO process technology, providing authoritative guidance on Air Separation Units (ASU), hydrogen/syngas production, and CO₂ capture systems. Lead cross-functional teams in evaluating process performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity.
• Project and Operational Support: Collaborate with regional and global engineering teams to support new installations, plant modifications, and ongoing operations across multiple technologies. Act as a bridge between site-based engineers, operations teams, and project execution groups to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions and adherence to project timelines.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Transfer: Foster a culture of continuous learning by mentoring junior and site-based process engineers, conducting peer reviews of engineering deliverables, and promoting best practices in process safety, quality, and operational integrity.
• Strategic Asset Management: Drive consistency in operations across the Middle East Region by developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for plant performance, reliability, and safety. Utilize advanced statistical techniques and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance asset lifecycle management and operational resilience.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface with global process engineers, regional operations teams, project engineering, safety specialists, and external partners to align technical strategies with business objectives. Engage with government and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Safety and Compliance Leadership: Champion a culture of safety by leading safety initiatives, coordinating employee safety committees, and ensuring adherence to BHIG’s rigorous safety protocols. Actively participate in major turnarounds and project activities, prioritizing safety at every stage of execution.
