Mechanical Engineer – Drive Operational Excellence in Power Generation

As a key member of our engineering team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain the integrity of complex mechanical infrastructure, including turbines, pumps, compressors, valves, and heat exchangers. Your strategic approach to maintenance—balancing preventive, predictive, and corrective strategies—will directly impact plant productivity and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Maintenance Strategies: Execute and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment longevity and optimal performance.
• Technical Troubleshooting & Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections, diagnose faults, and perform maintenance on high-value rotating equipment and mechanical systems to prevent unexpected failures.
• Support Critical Operations: Assist in planned outages, overhauls, inspections, and commissioning activities, ensuring minimal disruption to plant operations.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate equipment failures, analyze root causes, and propose actionable solutions to enhance system reliability.
• Collaborate for Operational Excellence: Work closely with Operations teams to align maintenance activities with plant goals, maximizing uptime and efficiency.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, company procedures, and engineering standards. Maintain detailed technical documentation and generate comprehensive maintenance reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Operations & Maintenance within the Power Generation industry, with a focus on mechanical systems and rotating equipment.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of maintenance methodologies, including preventive and predictive maintenance techniques. Familiarity with CMMS systems, particularly SAP PM, is a significant advantage.
• Communication & Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
