We are seeking highly motivated and licensed armed officers to serve in critical public safety roles across government, commercial, and institutional sectors. As a K-9 Handler, you will play a vital role in enhancing security operations through the deployment of specialized canine units, ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, assets, and the public.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic and rewarding position, your primary duties will include:

• Canine Deployment: Conducting tactical operations, patrol duties, and detection missions with your assigned K-9 partner to identify threats, contraband, or unauthorized individuals.
• Training & Certification: Participating in and completing our comprehensive certification program to ensure proficiency in canine handling, obedience training, and tactical response.
• Public Safety Enforcement: Collaborating with law enforcement, security teams, and institutional personnel to mitigate risks and respond to security incidents effectively.
• Equipment & Maintenance: Ensuring the proper care, maintenance, and readiness of your K-9 partner’s gear, including vests, leashes, and detection equipment.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of operations, training sessions, and incidents while adhering to all regulatory and organizational protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Licensing: Possession of a valid Maryland Handgun Permit, demonstrating compliance with state firearm regulations.
• Certification: Completion of our rigorous certification program, which includes hands-on training, evaluations, and proficiency assessments in K-9 handling and tactical operations.
• Experience: Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or military service is highly preferred, though exceptional candidates with relevant civilian experience will be considered.
• Physical & Mental Fitness: Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including endurance, strength, and mental resilience in high-pressure situations.
• Professionalism: Strong ethical standards, integrity, and a commitment to upholding public safety and organizational values.
