Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Coordination and Problem-Solving: Monitor and resolve technical challenges in specimen procurement and laboratory operations, ensuring smooth execution across Parasitology, Cytogenetics, Microscopy, and Blood Transfusion Service areas. Your analytical mindset will be instrumental in maintaining operational excellence.
• Team Leadership and Scheduling: Receive and manage daily schedules, assigning technical assistants to hospital and clinic locations for optimal specimen collection. Your organizational skills will ensure timely and efficient coverage across all assigned areas.
• Training and Development: Mentor and train new technical assistants, fostering a skilled and competent team. Your ability to impart knowledge and best practices will elevate the overall performance of the laboratory staff.
• Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the distribution of laboratory reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will also manage inventory and requisition of blood-collecting supplies, maintaining optimal stock levels for uninterrupted operations.
• Direct Contribution to Patient Care: Perform blood collection and related duties as needed, reinforcing your hands-on involvement in critical diagnostic processes.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Adhere strictly to section policies, procedures, and protocols while aligning with international standards such as CBAHI, JCI, CAP, and SFDA. Your commitment to continuous improvement will drive the laboratory’s accreditation goals.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess a strong educational foundation and hands-on experience in medical or laboratory technology. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Education: A **Bachelor’s or Associate Degree/Diploma in Medical or Laboratory Technology**, or a related discipline, is required. Your academic background will provide the technical knowledge essential for leadership in this field.
• Experience: At least **one (1) year of relevant experience** with a Bachelor’s degree, or **two (2) years** with an Associate Degree/Diploma, ensuring you bring practical insights to your leadership role.
• Licensure and Registration: Current registration from your country of origin and **Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS)** is mandatory. For non-Saudi candidates, completion of approved accreditation in your home country is required.
