As an **Estimation Engineer**, you will be responsible for transforming technical specifications into precise cost estimates, bridging the gap between design, production, and procurement to optimize project economics. Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a wide range of critical tasks, including:

• Technical Takeoff and Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of tender drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) to prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for GRC panels, cladding, and architectural precast elements. Ensure every component—from raw materials to installation—is accounted for with meticulous precision.
• Comprehensive Cost Estimation: Develop robust cost estimates that encompass raw materials (cement, glass fiber, admixtures), moulds, labor, production overheads, transportation, and installation. Leverage your expertise in GRC to ensure estimates reflect both technical feasibility and market competitiveness.
• Supplier and Subcontractor Evaluation: Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality. Negotiate and validate pricing to optimize procurement strategies.
• Technical and Structural Analysis: Analyze technical drawings to determine panel sizes, mix designs, mould requirements, and reinforcement details. Ensure your estimates align with production capabilities and industry best practices.
• Bid Preparation and Value Engineering: Prepare bid summaries, cost comparisons, and value engineering recommendations to enhance competitiveness. Present data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with design, production, and procurement teams to validate quantities, specifications, and cost assumptions. Act as a liaison to ensure seamless alignment across departments.
• Cost Tracking and Reporting: Monitor actual production costs against estimates and update historical cost databases to refine future projections. Maintain accurate records to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contract Support: Assist in contract negotiations by providing detailed cost breakdowns and clarifications. Ensure transparency and accountability in all financial engagements.
• Compliance and Process Adherence: Maintain estimating records and ensure strict compliance with company estimating procedures and industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, analytical acumen, and industry-specific knowledge:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. A strong foundation in structural and material science is essential.
• Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on estimating experience, preferably within the GRC, precast concrete, or facade/cladding manufacturing sectors. Familiarity with high-performance materials and complex architectural projects is a significant advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of GRC materials, mix design principles, and production processes. Proficiency in **AutoCAD**, **MS Excel** (advanced functions and pivot tables), and estimating software is required.
• Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Exceptional analytical skills and an unwavering attention to detail to ensure estimates are both accurate and actionable. Ability to interpret complex technical data and translate it into clear, cost-effective solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus). Ability to present findings confidently to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• BOQ and Cost Analysis Expertise: Solid understanding of BOQ preparation, takeoff methods, and cost analysis techniques to deliver estimates that are both competitive and realistic.
