Project Manager - Infrastructure & Utilities Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager – Infrastructure & Utilities Operations to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing and delivering critical infrastructure and utilities projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, with a focus on infrastructure development, utilities operations, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure seamless execution of infrastructure and utilities projects from initiation to completion.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and internal teams. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to align project objectives with organizational goals.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. Monitor project progress and address any issues proactively to ensure project success.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance and high-quality deliverables.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and support staff. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Budget and Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed project reports, progress updates, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in infrastructure or utilities operations. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects in similar industries.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations. Familiarity with utilities infrastructure (e.g., water, electricity, gas) is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
