Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Director of Performance Marketing, you will be responsible for the following critical functions:

• Strategic Budget Allocation: Own a multi-million-dollar monthly paid media budget across Google and Meta, determining where to invest for maximum contribution margin. Your role includes designing pause/hold/scale logic, budget guardrails, and escalation protocols to govern all paid spend.
• Performance Optimization: Move beyond standard campaign types to identify and implement innovative strategies, including new campaign structures, creative testing frameworks, and marginal return-based capital allocation. Reconcile platform attribution with backend data to ensure accuracy in decision-making.
• Creative and Measurement Systems: Architect a scalable creative engine that includes concept pipelines, testing taxonomies, briefs, hook/hold analytics, user-generated content (UGC), and whitelisting. Deploy incrementality testing to validate performance and eliminate blind spots.
• Promotional Architecture: Design and implement a dynamic promotional strategy aligned with the retail calendar, including pulse strategies, financing offers, and funnel alignment to maximize revenue and customer lifetime value.
• Channel Expansion: Evaluate and pilot paid channels beyond Google and Meta to diversify growth opportunities and reduce dependency on major platforms.
• Team Leadership and Org Design: Build and structure the performance marketing function from the ground up, defining roles, responsibilities, and processes to ensure scalability and efficiency. Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous innovation.
• AI-First Innovation: Leverage advanced AI tools to stress-test every spend proposal before execution. Your first spend case will be validated by an LLM to identify potential risks and optimize outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
