Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Middle East. The Service Engineer will independently plan and execute field jobs, ensuring seamless job execution while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities

The Service Engineer will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

• Field Operations Management: Independently plan and execute field operations involving advanced drilling and completion tools, such as liner hangers, stage cementing collars, and specialized drilling tools. Ensure all operations are conducted in strict adherence to company standards and operational procedures.
• Equipment Assembly and Maintenance: Assemble, test, and maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Conduct thorough pre-job inspections to verify equipment readiness and compliance with safety protocols.
• Job Preparation and Execution: Develop detailed job programs, coordinate equipment mobilization, and ensure on-site operational readiness. Monitor job performance in real-time, troubleshoot technical issues, and document field data accurately for post-job analysis.
• Technical Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive post-job and performance analysis reports, including actionable recommendations for process improvements. Lead or participate in failure investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Training and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to Assistant Service Engineers and field technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.
• Client and Team Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to maintain high service quality, strengthen technical communication, and ensure alignment with project objectives. Act as a trusted technical advisor to address client concerns and optimize operational outcomes.
• Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations during field operations. Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all team members comply with established guidelines.
• Project Support: Contribute to research and development (R&D) initiatives, industrialization projects, and the development of localized service capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and innovation in the Middle East region.
• Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate strong adaptability to challenging field conditions and the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently. Maintain a proactive approach to troubleshooting and performance optimization.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on field service experience with drilling and completion tools, demonstrating a deep understanding of tool mechanics, hydraulics, and downhole applications.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operational troubleshooting, performance optimization, and field operation planning. Strong analytical skills to interpret technical data and implement improvements.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Strong reporting and documentation capabilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report generation, data analysis, and presentation purposes.
