As an IT Specialist, you will be the backbone of our technology ecosystem, ensuring that our systems are not only robust and secure but also aligned with the evolving needs of our business. Your work will directly impact productivity, collaboration, and the overall user experience for employees across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of technical and operational duties, including but not limited to:

• Networking Excellence: Design, implement, and maintain our LAN/WAN infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall systems. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure optimal data flow. Manage network security devices, enforce best practices for segmentation and access control, and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations and IP schemes.
• Systems Administration & ERP Support: Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy to ensure system stability and efficiency. Leverage your expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP to support backend operations, ensuring data integrity and system performance. Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) while performing regular updates, patch management, and vulnerability remediation. Oversee backup systems, disaster recovery planning, and failover procedures to guarantee business continuity.
• End-User Support & Training: Provide exceptional first- and second-line technical support through our ticketing system, resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues with efficiency and professionalism. Onboard new hires by setting up and configuring workstations, laptops, and mobile devices. Manage software licensing, installations, and updates while delivering training and guidance to end users. Foster a positive customer-service culture to enhance user satisfaction and IT adoption.
• Security & Compliance Leadership: Implement and enforce endpoint protection, antivirus, and anti-malware solutions to safeguard our systems against threats. Monitor for security incidents, respond promptly to breaches, and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. Conduct regular security awareness activities and enforce IT policies to create a culture of cybersecurity best practices.
• IT Operations & Asset Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware, software licenses, and IT assets. Oversee the procurement and lifecycle management of IT equipment while collaborating with vendors and external service providers. Document IT processes, procedures, and configurations to build a robust knowledge base. Assist in IT budget planning and cost-control initiatives to optimize resource allocation.
• Projects & Continuous Improvement: Participate in IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology rollouts to drive innovation. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and user experience. Stay ahead of industry trends by exploring emerging technologies and best practices. Contribute to special projects as assigned, ensuring alignment with strategic IT goals.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 3–6 years of hands-on experience in IT operations, systems administration, ERP systems, or networking, with a proven track record of delivering reliable and secure IT solutions.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls) and experience with Windows Server and/or Linux administration. Strong familiarity with Oracle Fusion ERP, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace administration. Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is essential. Knowledge of endpoint security, backup solutions, and disaster recovery strategies is a must. Familiarity with ticketing/helpdesk systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and troubleshooting hardware/software issues will be leveraged daily.
• Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Network+/A+/Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Modern Desktop Administrator, Cisco CCNA, or ITIL Foundation certifications will strengthen your candidacy.
