As an Associate Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of cybersecurity functions, including but not limited to:
- Cybersecurity Infrastructure Management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of critical cybersecurity tools and systems, such as firewalls, antivirus solutions, encryption protocols, intrusion detection systems (IDS), access management platforms, and network monitoring solutions. Ensure these systems operate reliably, scalably, and in full compliance with security standards to mitigate vulnerabilities and prevent disruptions.
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC): Lead the organization’s cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives by enforcing adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks. Conduct regular assessments, security drills, and awareness campaigns to cultivate a proactive security posture and ensure alignment with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and other relevant guidelines.
- Incident Response and Threat Mitigation: Act as the first line of defense in detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents, breaches, and threats. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement remediation strategies, conduct forensic investigations, and ensure swift recovery while minimizing operational impact.
- Vendor and Service Management: Manage engagements with external cybersecurity vendors, ensuring that managed services and professional support align with project scope, timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks. Act as a liaison between internal teams and third-party providers to streamline service delivery and enhance overall security posture.
- IT Demand and Project Support: Evaluate cybersecurity implications for IT demand requests and support the fulfillment of approved projects within the organization’s IT project management framework. Ensure all initiatives adhere to security policies, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions that enhance JHAH’s security infrastructure. Qualifications and Requirements

- Education: A **Bachelor’s Degree** in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications are a plus.
- Certifications: While no minimum experience is required, the following certifications are highly valued and will strengthen your candidacy:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- CompTIA Security+
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
