We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to spearhead the evolution of SOFON’s IT Shared Services and Digital Solutions, driving transformative change to deliver cutting-edge, secure, and scalable technology solutions that align seamlessly with business objectives. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and execution of a forward-thinking IT strategy, ensuring world-class service delivery across SOFON and its subsidiaries while fostering innovation, operational excellence, and digital maturity.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will span a broad spectrum of strategic and operational areas, ensuring IT services are not only robust and scalable but also aligned with the evolving needs of the business:

• IT Shared Services Leadership: Design and implement a high-performing IT Shared Services operating model that delivers reliable, secure, and scalable technology services. Establish and enforce IT Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and governance frameworks to ensure consistent service quality across all subsidiaries. Drive standardization, consolidation, and continuous improvement of IT services, including infrastructure, applications, cloud solutions, and end-user computing. Foster a customer-centric IT culture that prioritizes user experience, availability, and reliability.
• Digital Transformation & Innovation: Lead the digital transformation roadmap, aligning technology initiatives with SOFON’s strategic objectives to enhance operational efficiency, customer engagement, and employee productivity. Identify and implement innovative digital solutions, such as AI, analytics, robotic process automation (RPA), and low-code platforms, to streamline workflows and unlock new opportunities. Champion automation, self-service portals, and emerging technologies to drive agility and competitive advantage. Oversee digital projects from concept to execution, ensuring measurable business value and ROI.
• Enterprise Applications & ERP Excellence: Oversee the management of enterprise applications and ERP platforms, ensuring seamless integration with business processes and alignment with regulatory requirements. Lead application enhancements, upgrades, and optimizations to maintain scalability, security, and performance. Establish a robust application portfolio management framework to govern the lifecycle of critical systems, ensuring they remain agile and responsive to business needs.
• IT Governance, Architecture & Cybersecurity: Ensure compliance with corporate IT governance standards and Saudi regulatory requirements, while collaborating closely with cybersecurity teams to maintain a secure and resilient technology architecture. Define technology standards, architecture principles, and solution governance frameworks to support business continuity, disaster recovery, and technology resilience. Mitigate risks and ensure robust safeguards are in place to protect SOFON’s digital assets.
• Vendor & Commercial Management: Manage strategic relationships with technology vendors, system integrators, and managed service providers, ensuring optimal performance, cost efficiency, and alignment with business goals. Lead technology procurement processes, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations to maximize value and minimize expenditure. Collaborate with Procurement to optimize IT spending and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or innovation.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and develop high-performing IT and Digital Solutions teams, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment. Partner closely with business leaders, C-level executives, and subsidiary management to understand technology needs and translate them into actionable solutions. Present IT strategy, performance metrics, risk assessments, and investment requirements to executive leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities. Act as a strategic advisor to stakeholders, driving data-informed decision-making and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a proven track record of leadership in IT and digital transformation, coupled with a deep understanding of enterprise technology solutions:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• Experience: At least 15 years of progressive IT experience, with 7 to 10 years in senior leadership roles focused on IT Shared Services, Enterprise Applications, Digital Transformation, and IT Governance. Experience in a multinational or complex organizational environment is a significant advantage.
• Internal & External Interactions: Strong relationships and collaboration skills are essential. You will engage with Executive Leadership, Subsidiary Management, Shared Services Functions, Cybersecurity, Finance, Procurement, and Human Capital internally. Externally, you will interact with technology vendors, system integrators, managed service providers, regulators, and strategic partners to drive successful outcomes.
