Key Responsibilities

As an Operator at Nestlé Waters, your core responsibilities will include:

• Production Line Management: Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols. This includes overseeing bottling lines, packaging systems, and quality control checks.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify that all products meet Nestlé’s stringent quality and hygiene standards. Document any deviations and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity within the production process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices.
• Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Ensure a clean and organized workspace, and report any potential hazards or incidents immediately.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other operators to troubleshoot issues, share insights, and maintain smooth operations. Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to prevent downtime. Coordinate with maintenance teams for more complex issues.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong understanding of production processes, machinery operation, and quality control principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and production schedules.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using basic computer systems and production software.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
