About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team in Riyadh. As a CFO, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of sports investment across the Kingdom, driving sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial strategy and operations of the organization, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee the organization’s financial strategy, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support sustainable growth and profitability.
• Commercial Finance Management: Oversee the financial performance of all venues and strategic projects, driving initiatives to enhance profitability, improve margins, and generate robust cash flow across the portfolio.
• Governance and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting in full compliance with SOCPA, IFRS, Zakat, VAT, and all applicable local regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance.
• Treasury and Cash Flow Optimization: Lead treasury operations to optimize liquidity, manage working capital, cultivate strong banking relationships, and mitigate corporate financial risks to safeguard the organization’s financial health.
• Finance Transformation and Innovation: Spearhead the implementation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, automate financial reporting processes, and standardize procedures to enhance operational efficiency and support rapid organizational scaling.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Serve as the primary financial liaison with joint venture partners, shareholders, and the Board of Directors, providing strategic insights and fostering collaborative decision-making.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor, inspire, and lead a high-performing finance division, encompassing both corporate and operational functions, to deliver exceptional financial outcomes and drive organizational success.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will bring a wealth of experience and expertise, including:

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive capacity such as CFO, VP of Finance, or an equivalent leadership role.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a Master’s degree or MBA being strongly preferred to demonstrate advanced strategic and analytical capabilities.
• Professional Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly desirable and will be considered a significant asset in this role.
• Industry-Specific Expertise: A proven track record within the sports, entertainment, venues, or facilities management sectors is strongly preferred, with a deep understanding of the unique financial and operational challenges these industries present.
• Core Competencies: Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi financial regulations, joint venture structures, and corporate governance frameworks, combined with exceptional executive communication skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships effectively.
