As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Oncology, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission by serving as a trusted scientific expert and peer-to-peer communicator with leading specialists in the field.

Key Responsibilities

This role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and is designed for professionals who are passionate about driving scientific excellence and improving patient outcomes in oncology. Your primary responsibility will be to maximize the value of our products through high-quality scientific communication with key opinion leaders (KOLs), including physicians, pharmacists, hospital managers, and members of scientific societies. You will serve as a therapeutic area expert in Genitourinary Oncology, focusing on prostate and bladder cancers, and will be responsible for:

• Scientific Expertise and Knowledge Management: Stay at the forefront of medical and scientific advancements by continuously updating your knowledge of products, patient treatment trends, and clinical studies within the therapeutic area. Maintain a deep understanding of the scientific landscape to effectively communicate the value of our products and foster innovative approaches.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Network Development: Develop and maintain a robust contact network with leading specialists, understanding their needs, key value drivers, and treatment patterns. Build strong, collaborative relationships with KOLs to champion the medical benefits of our products and contribute to the advancement of oncology care.
• Scientific Communication and Advocacy: Serve as a trusted scientific counterpart by proactively and reactively communicating medical and scientific data to KOLs and broader healthcare audiences. This includes discussing approved products within their labeled indications, sharing non-promotional information about our company’s research and development programs, and responding to unsolicited scientific queries based on approved Medical Affairs and Medical Information documents.
• Representation and Collaboration: Represent the company within professional associations and scientific forums in collaboration with Medical Advisors, Medical Leads, and Medical Directors. Actively participate in medical education activities, including identifying, supporting, and educating speakers to enhance the scientific dialogue around our products and therapeutic areas.
• Strategic Alignment and Execution: Work closely with the Medical Affairs team to align your activities with the Medical Affairs Plan, ensuring the realization of both short-term and long-term company goals. Contribute to the development and execution of strategies that drive scientific engagement and support the commercial success of our products.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess a strong scientific background in oncology, with a deep understanding of Genitourinary Oncology. The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field (PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred).
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or a related field, with a focus on oncology.
• Proven experience in scientific communication, stakeholder engagement, and medical education, with a track record of building strong relationships with KOLs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• A commitment to ethical and compliant practices, with a strong understanding of medical and regulatory guidelines.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable, with strong interpersonal skills to navigate diverse cultural and professional environments.
