Job Overview

Stranger Soccer, a dynamic and forward-thinking organization based in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a highly motivated and responsible Operator & License Owner to oversee operations and manage licensing activities in Riyadh. This critical role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and business development. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless day-to-day operations while maintaining compliance with local and international licensing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives and operational policies.
• Licensing Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for all licensing-related matters, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
• Regulatory Liaison: Act as a liaison between Stranger Soccer and regulatory authorities, government bodies, and licensing agencies to facilitate compliance and resolve any licensing-related issues promptly.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of licenses, permits, and compliance documentation, and prepare comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies as required.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with licensing and operations, implementing proactive measures to mitigate them and ensure business continuity.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Strategic Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of licensing strategies that support the company’s growth and expansion goals in the region.
• Training & Support: Provide guidance and training to staff on licensing procedures, compliance requirements, and best practices to foster a culture of accountability and excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. Advanced certifications in compliance or licensing are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a licensing, compliance, or operational role, preferably within the sports, entertainment, or hospitality sectors in Saudi Arabia.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks, licensing processes, and compliance standards. Familiarity with international licensing practices is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with licensing management software or databases.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is required to effectively engage with local and international stakeholders.
