Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional cardiovascular care by performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization (cath) lab. Your responsibilities will encompass patient preparation, imaging acquisition, and providing essential intra-procedural support to physicians. Key Responsibilities

As a Cardiovascular Technologist, your core duties will include:

• Procedure Execution: Conducting Transthoracic and Transesophageal procedures, as well as echocardiography, to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular interventions.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operating and maintaining advanced imaging and monitoring equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
• Patient Care and Safety: Preparing patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process, and providing clear post-procedure care instructions.
• Documentation and Compliance: Accurately documenting all procedural details, maintaining precise medical records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and institutional standards, including radiation safety principles.
• Collaboration and Support: Working closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver cohesive and high-quality patient care. Assisting with inventory management of interventional products and participating in quality assurance initiatives.
• Continuous Learning: Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in cardiovascular technology and procedures, ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge care.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and possess the following competencies:

• Education: A diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related healthcare field from an accredited institution.
• Clinical Experience: Hands-on experience in cath lab environments, with a strong clinical foundation in Cardiology and Medicine. Proficiency in echocardiography and familiarity with cath lab workflows, equipment, and safety protocols are essential.
• Technical and Safety Skills: Ability to apply radiation safety principles, follow clinical guidelines, and maintain accurate medical records. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are critical.
• Communication and Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary clinical setting. A patient-centered approach and ethical practice are non-negotiable.
• Professional Development: Willingness to pursue continuous learning opportunities, including training on new cardiovascular technologies and procedures. Proficiency in English, demonstrated by an IELTS or TOEFL certificate, is required.
