About the Role

As a Technical Business Operations Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in advising and guiding clients through the complexities of the nphies ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of healthcare solutions. This position requires a deep technical expertise in healthcare interoperability standards, particularly FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources), alongside a comprehensive understanding of the Saudi healthcare landscape. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including technical, business, and delivery units—to drive successful implementations, integrations, and enhancements that align with nphies standards and regulatory mandates.

Key Responsibilities

• Domain Expertise & Advisory:
  • Provide authoritative guidance on FHIR standards, HL7 protocols, and healthcare interoperability best practices.
  • Advise clients on integrating nphies requirements into their existing healthcare systems effectively.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory updates and emerging digital health trends in Saudi Arabia to ensure compliance and innovation.
• Client Engagement & Needs Assessment:
  • Engage with client stakeholders to align on strategic objectives, operational challenges, and technical prerequisites.
  • Conduct thorough gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement in interoperability, data exchange, and financial workflows.
  • Validate production releases at early stages and in live environments to ensure seamless deployment.
• Solution Architecture & Integration:
  • Design and evaluate system architectures that facilitate FHIR-based data exchange and nphies compliance.
  • Recommend robust integration strategies for Health Information Systems (HIS), Health Information Exchanges (HIE), payer systems, and provider platforms.
• Process Optimization:
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline healthcare operations, reduce operational costs, and enhance data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Drive the automation and digital transformation of financial health services to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Technology Enablement:
  • Recommend cutting-edge tools, platforms, and technologies that support secure, scalable, and compliant healthcare data management.
  • Champion the adoption of cloud-based solutions, APIs, and microservices architectures to modernize client infrastructures.
• Cross-Team Collaboration:
  • Work in tandem with Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance teams, and Delivery units to ensure cohesive alignment and successful project execution.
  • Participate in solution reviews, testing phases, and validation of new functionalities to maintain high standards of quality.
• Subject Matter Expertise:
  • Serve as a trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME) for nphies-related initiatives, offering insights, training, and knowledge transfer to internal and client teams.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, conduct workshops, and facilitate training sessions to ensure widespread understanding and adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 9 years of hands-on experience in the Health Tech industry, with a proven track record in healthcare IT systems such as HIE, HIS, and payer-provider platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of FHIR, HL7, and healthcare interoperability frameworks, with practical experience in their application.
• Strong expertise in solution architecture, system integration, and enterprise-level platform implementations.
• Proficiency in software development languages and frameworks, including .NET, Java, and both backend and frontend technologies.
• Advanced skills in Oracle databases and SQL for data management and system optimization.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities with a focus on delivery oversight and client satisfaction.
• Exceptional client-facing communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Solid experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and detailed documentation practices.
• Familiarity with the nphies platform, its standards, and operational models is highly advantageous.
• Native fluency in Arabic and professional proficiency in English are essential.
