• Tax Compliance and Reporting: Lead the preparation of all tax returns, including ZAKAT declarations, in strict adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Ensure accurate calculation, recording, and provisioning of tax liabilities, along with timely filing and payment to avoid penalties or disruptions.
• Strategic Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze comprehensive tax reports, schedules, and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy. Collaborate with the Tax and Treasury Manager to support month-end and year-end closings, including handling tax inspections with professionalism and diligence.
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key external partners, including the ZATCA, insurance brokers, and insurance providers. Act as a trusted liaison to facilitate smooth communication, resolve inquiries, and ensure all obligations are met with minimal friction.
• Insurance Policy Oversight: Support the Treasury and Tax Manager in monitoring insurance policies, ensuring timely renewals, and mitigating risks associated with non-renewal. Play an active role in negotiating policy renewals to secure optimal terms and cost-effective premiums, leveraging your financial acumen to drive value.
• Claims and Financial Tracking: Maintain rigorous tracking of all insurance claims, ensuring timely follow-ups with brokers and providers to expedite resolutions. Prepare detailed insurance reports by policy type and claim status, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Accounting and Journal Entries: Prepare and record all insurance-related journal entries in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial reporting. Contribute to the overall financial transparency and integrity of the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and a proactive mindset. We are seeking a candidate with:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding a postgraduate certificate in finance, taxation, or a relevant discipline.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP databases, particularly SAP, is highly desirable. Familiarity with tax software and financial reporting tools will be an asset.
• Industry Experience: 4 to 6 years of specialized experience in taxation and ZAKAT compliance, with a proven track record of managing complex financial processes, regulatory filings, and stakeholder relationships.
