About the Role

State Street Investment Management (SSIM) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transition Management Analyst, Assistant Vice President to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position operates under a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of four days per week in the office to foster collaboration and maintain alignment with our global teams. Key Responsibilities

As a Transition Management Analyst, your responsibilities will encompass the entire transition lifecycle, including pre-trade, implementation, and post-trade phases. You will:

• Client and Global Desk Support: Provide pre- and post-trade analysis and execution reporting for clients in the KSA and our global transition desk, including planning, project management, and communication across stakeholders such as clients, custodians, record-keepers, investment managers, and consultants.
• Portfolio and Trade Execution: Assist in portfolio management and order generation, collaborate with the trading desk on trade strategy and instructions, and monitor daily middle office support functions, including trade communications, reconciliations, and corporate actions.
• Trade Reconciliation: Conduct thorough trade reconciliations between internal systems to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to sending trades to the middle office and custodians, thereby facilitating timely settlement.
• Expertise Development: Build deep expertise in multi-asset agency trading, exposure management, and hedging strategies, and serve as a subject matter expert for transition and interim exposure management products.
• Performance Benchmarking: Analyze and measure transition and trade execution performance using Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) to drive continuous improvement.
• Sales and Business Development: Support sales initiatives and contribute to thought leadership on transition, exposure management, and trading topics to enhance client engagement and market positioning.
• Tool and Platform Enhancement: Contribute to projects aimed at evolving and industrializing our suite of trading, hedging, and exposure analysis tools, including the ongoing enhancement of pre- and post-trade analytics and the interim exposure management platform in collaboration with our Exposure Solutions team, reporting and analytics specialists, and external vendors.

What We Look For

• Relevant Experience: A minimum of three years in portfolio management, trading, or operational roles, preferably across multiple asset classes.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with portfolio and order management systems such as Charles River Development or Axioma, and experience using market-data sources like Bloomberg for analytical purposes.
• Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex topics clearly and navigate projects with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.
• Problem-Solving and Time Management: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
