Your Mission: Drive Innovation and Business Growth

As a Planner & Consultant Support Engineer, you will serve as a bridge between Siemens and key stakeholders in the planning, consulting, and design sectors. Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities to deepen Siemens’ early-stage engagement with planners, consultants, and design firms, ensuring our integrated solutions are positioned for maximum business impact. You will collaborate across departments to provide expert technical guidance, foster strong relationships with specification stakeholders, and manage opportunities through Siemens’ CRM platform.

Your role will also involve planning, organizing, and delivering technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions tailored to the needs of clients, consultants, and planners. By monitoring market trends, project pipelines, and specification activities, you will proactively identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of Siemens’ Smart Infrastructure portfolio.

Your Expertise: Technical Proficiency and Strategic Insight

• Industry Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the Smart Buildings industry, with a preference for roles in systems integration, OEM, engineering consulting, or technology provision.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience collaborating with consultants, designers, and end-users to deliver tailored solutions.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Smart Building technologies, specification processes, and the unique requirements of consultants and planners.
• System Expertise: Hands-on experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), fire safety systems, lighting controls, security systems, and IoT-based solutions is highly advantageous.
• Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Business Acumen: Familiarity with sales processes, CRM platforms, and business workflows to effectively manage opportunities and track progress.
• Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities to deliver complex technical discussions with clarity and confidence.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset.
