As the **Head of Finance** at Unified Real Estate Development (URED), you will spearhead the organization’s financial strategy, ensuring robust financial health, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives. This pivotal role demands a visionary leader who can drive financial excellence, foster innovation, and position URED as a forward-thinking entity in the real estate sector. Reporting directly to the CFO and VP of Support Services, you will serve as the architect of financial governance, transforming operations through digital innovation and data-driven decision-making.

In this dynamic position, you will lead a high-performing Finance & Accounting team, steering the organization toward financial resilience while championing a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Your strategic acumen will be instrumental in shaping URED’s financial trajectory, ensuring seamless integration of financial processes with broader business objectives.

Core Responsibilities

Your role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, spanning financial leadership, regulatory compliance, treasury management, and strategic business partnering. Below are the key areas of focus:

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Oversee the entire Finance & Accounting function, providing visionary direction across Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, Tax, and Treasury. Develop and execute annual business plans, manpower strategies, and departmental budgets while establishing measurable KPIs to drive performance excellence. Lead the digital transformation of financial operations, leveraging cutting-edge tools such as Yardi, Power BI dashboards, and AI-assisted reporting to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and Saudi GAAP. Maintain strict adherence to regulatory frameworks, including VAT, Zakat, Withholding Tax (WHT), and ZATCA e-invoicing requirements. Lead all statutory audit processes, manage external auditor relationships, and resolve audit findings with precision. Oversee consolidated financial reporting for URED and its subsidiaries, including intercompany reconciliations, to guarantee financial integrity and audit-readiness.
• Treasury & Capital Management: Manage treasury operations, cash flow planning, and banking relationships while overseeing credit facility management. Monitor and optimize the investment portfolio, providing data-backed recommendations to the CFO on capital allocation. Ensure financial discipline, accuracy in cash flow forecasting, and transparency in cost reporting across all business units. Deliver executive-level insights on financial performance, risk exposure, and treasury positioning.
• Business Partnering & Strategic Analysis: Act as a trusted financial advisor to executive leadership, providing in-depth analysis to support critical decisions on property acquisitions, development feasibility, lease pricing, and capital allocation. Collaborate closely with department heads to refine budget management, cost controls, and financial performance strategies. Present compelling financial narratives to the Board of Directors, leveraging AI-assisted tools and advanced analytics to transition from reactive reporting to proactive, insight-driven decision-making.
• People Leadership & Development: Cultivate a high-performance team by coaching, mentoring, and developing Finance & Accounting professionals. Build robust succession plans and identify talent gaps to drive organizational growth. Conduct mid-year and annual performance appraisals, fostering a culture of excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. Empower your team to embrace innovation and adapt to evolving financial landscapes.

Decision-Making Authority & Framework

As the Head of Finance, you will operate within a framework of clear authority and accountability, ensuring operational efficiency and strategic alignment:

• Report directly to the CFO and VP of Support Services, providing strategic direction and financial oversight.
• Review and validate payment requests up to SAR 500,000 per transaction, with final approval authority resting with the CEO in accordance with URED’s Delegation of Authority (DoA).
• Hold authority to approve departmental operational expenditures within the approved annual budget.
• Grant approval for team leave, performance appraisals, and departmental headcount plans, ensuring operational agility.
• Propose changes to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls for CFO and CEO approval, driving continuous improvement.
• Assume full accountability for the financial health and operational excellence of the Finance function.
