Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive – Project Sales with expertise in lighting design engineering to join our dynamic team at Al Adwaa Factory For Lighting Business in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by identifying, developing, and closing high-value projects while ensuring alignment with client requirements and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the lighting industry, focusing on large-scale projects such as commercial, residential, hospitality, and industrial installations. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Technical Consultation & Design Support: Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements and provide expert advice on lighting design solutions. Ensure that proposed designs meet technical specifications, energy efficiency standards, and aesthetic preferences.
• Proposal & Bid Management: Prepare and submit competitive proposals, including technical drawings, cost estimates, and project timelines. Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and partners. Act as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities. Use insights to refine sales strategies and enhance the company’s competitive position.
• Project Execution & Follow-Up: Oversee the entire sales cycle, from initial inquiry to project completion, ensuring smooth coordination between sales, design, and production teams. Monitor project progress and address any challenges to deliver results on time and within budget.
• Technical Proficiency: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lighting technologies, including LED systems, smart lighting, and energy-efficient solutions. Apply this expertise to recommend optimal products and designs for each project.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in lighting design is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales, project management, or lighting design, preferably within the lighting industry. Experience in handling large-scale projects is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., Dialux, Relux, or AutoCAD) and strong knowledge of lighting standards and regulations. Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability practices in lighting is essential.
• Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven track record in sales, with excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities. Ability to influence stakeholders and close deals in a competitive market.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is required; additional languages are a valuable asset.
• Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A customer-centric approach and a passion for innovation in lighting solutions are critical.
