Key Responsibilities

As an ODOO Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records while ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations, all within the ODOO platform.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, to support strategic decision-making.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to Saudi tax regulations, including VAT filings and Zakat calculations, by leveraging ODOO’s tax management features.
• System Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes within ODOO to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline workflows.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, sales, and management, to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Audit Support: Assist internal and external auditors by providing comprehensive financial documentation and explanations as required.
• Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to colleagues on ODOO accounting functionalities to foster a data-driven culture across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of the ODOO accounting module, with hands-on experience in financial data entry, reconciliation, and reporting. Familiarity with other ERP systems is a plus.
• Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of Saudi Arabia’s accounting and tax regulations, including VAT, Zakat, and GAAP standards.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Ethical Standards: A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical accounting practices.
