In this dynamic role, you will lead AstraZeneca’s policy and advocacy strategy in Saudi Arabia, ensuring our therapeutic portfolio aligns with national healthcare priorities while driving sustainable growth. Reporting to the KSA Corporate Affairs Director, you will collaborate across commercial, medical, regulatory, and government affairs teams to influence policy decisions, enhance patient access, and secure long-term business success. Your work will directly contribute to AstraZeneca’s global impact while fostering meaningful partnerships with policymakers, stakeholders, and industry leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Your strategic influence will span multiple critical areas:

• Policy Landscape Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of the evolving healthcare policy environment in Saudi Arabia, anticipating regulatory shifts and emerging trends that could impact AstraZeneca’s disease-focused products.
• Strategic Advocacy Leadership: Design, implement, and evaluate policy and advocacy initiatives that promote therapeutic access, reimbursement, and innovation across key therapy areas, ensuring alignment with national healthcare objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with policymakers, government officials, patient advocacy groups, medical societies, NGOs, and industry associations to amplify AstraZeneca’s voice and influence.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor to commercial, medical, and regulatory teams, providing expert policy insights to inform regulatory submissions, market access strategies, and lifecycle management decisions.
• Communication and Advocacy: Develop and disseminate compelling policy position statements, white papers, and briefings tailored for both internal leadership and external stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
• Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on policy outcomes, ensuring continuous refinement of strategies to maximize impact and alignment with AstraZeneca’s global corporate affairs framework.
