We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Finance Data Analysis and Control Specialist for our MESEA region to play a pivotal role in transforming raw financial data into strategic insights that drive business growth.

You will serve as the analytical backbone of our finance team, responsible for delivering high-impact financial analysis, ensuring data integrity, and empowering stakeholders with actionable intelligence. Key Responsibilities

As the Finance Data Analysis and Control Specialist, your role will encompass a broad spectrum of financial and analytical responsibilities, including:

• Strategic Financial Analysis: Lead the preparation, coordination, and analysis of budgets, financial forecasts, and service operations costing updates to ensure alignment with business objectives and regional performance targets.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop and maintain advanced financial and analytical tools, including sales and financial databases, to support real-time performance monitoring and variance analysis. Your expertise will ensure that cost allocations, business performance metrics, and financial reporting are accurate, timely, and insightful.
• Financial Reporting and Quality Assurance: Act as a second-level quality control for financial transactions and reporting, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements. Your meticulous attention to detail will enhance the reliability of financial data, supporting both monthly and year-end closings.
• Data Warehousing and Transformation: Extract, clean, and transform financial data from diverse internal systems to build and optimize self-service dashboards. Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to resolve data quality issues, improve data pipelines, and enhance the overall efficiency of financial reporting processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Data Literacy: Act as a data ambassador, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization. Your ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly and effectively will empower stakeholders to leverage data for strategic planning and operational improvements.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process optimization by identifying inefficiencies in financial workflows and proposing data-driven solutions. Your contributions will ensure that our financial performance measurement systems are robust, relevant, and aligned with business goals.
• Ad Hoc Analysis and Support: Respond to dynamic business needs by providing ad hoc financial analysis and support for corporate management, including quarterly and year-end reporting. Your proactive approach will enable leadership to make informed, data-backed decisions.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and business acumen. We are looking for a candidate with:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with a preference for a Master’s degree in a finance or data analytics discipline.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing databases, data analytics tools, and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, or R). Familiarity with financial modeling, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and ERP systems is highly advantageous.
• Financial and Business Acumen: A deep understanding of financial data flows, business processes, and cost management principles. Experience in interpreting financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and aligning financial strategies with business objectives.
• Industry Experience: At least three years of experience in financial analysis, data control, or a related role within a multinational or industrial environment. Prior experience in a regional finance or analytics capacity is a significant asset.
• Problem-Solving and Communication: Exceptional analytical skills to identify trends, resolve data discrepancies, and derive actionable insights. Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
