Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Project Planning and Scheduling: Lead and support project planning and scheduling initiatives, employing industry-leading methodologies to enhance efficiency, minimize risks, and align projects with strategic objectives.
• Claims and Variation Analysis: Assist clients in analyzing and tracking variations and claims, ensuring transparency and accuracy in financial and contractual obligations while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor project performance by analyzing key metrics, trends, and deviations, and present actionable insights through detailed reports and presentations for both management and clients.
• System and Workflow Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of robust project control systems, workflows, and documentation to streamline processes and enhance operational excellence.
• Risk Management and Mitigation: Actively participate in risk management processes, identifying potential threats, and collaborating with teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies that safeguard project timelines and budgets.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Foster clear and effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure alignment, collaboration, and coordinated project execution.
• Corrective Action Planning: Identify deviations from project plans and work closely with teams to develop and execute corrective measures that restore alignment with project goals.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• Advanced Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, reflecting a strong foundation in project management principles.
• Extensive Industry Experience: A minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in project controls, with a preference for candidates who have demonstrated success within the construction industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven expertise in utilizing project management tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, along with a comprehensive understanding of cost control, scheduling, and risk management methodologies.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail, to assess complex data and devise innovative solutions.
• Communication Excellence: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to articulate technical information clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
• Collaborative Mindset: A proactive and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively in collaborative environments to drive collective success.
• Certification Advantage: While not mandatory, certification in Project Management (such as PMP or equivalent) is highly regarded and will further enhance your candidacy.
