• Monitor and Manage Critical Systems: Oversee real-time monitoring of power distribution, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, cooling infrastructure, and environmental controls to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
• Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs to uphold the reliability and longevity of data center hardware, including servers, racks, and supporting equipment.
• Troubleshoot Technical Incidents: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, or environmental issues promptly, minimizing disruptions and ensuring rapid recovery of critical systems.
• Collaborate with Vendors and Technical Teams: Work closely with external vendors and internal IT teams to coordinate upgrades, installations, and maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Ensure High Availability and Reliability: Implement and enforce best practices for data center operations, including redundancy planning, disaster recovery protocols, and compliance with security and performance standards.
• Document and Report Findings: Maintain detailed records of system performance, maintenance activities, and incident resolutions to support continuous improvement and decision-making.
