Key Responsibilities

As a Field Project Engineer, your responsibilities will be both strategic and hands-on, ensuring seamless project execution from inception to completion:

• Project Estimation and Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of technically robust and commercially competitive project estimates by engaging with local service providers, contractors, and stakeholders. Obtain competitive quotations, negotiate favorable terms, and develop proposals that balance technical excellence with profitability.
• Customer-Centric Project Management: Act as the primary liaison for customer projects across the Middle East region, coordinating site visits, meetings, and discussions with customer teams, sales departments, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with service execution teams, subcontractors, and sales departments to integrate resources, resolve challenges, and maintain project momentum. Your role will bridge technical, commercial, and operational perspectives to drive cohesive project outcomes.
• On-Site Execution and Commissioning: Supervise on-site activities, participate in project execution, commissioning, and startup phases, and collaborate with client representatives to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Performance Monitoring and Cost Control: Track project progress against approved plans, monitor performance metrics, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks, avoid cost overruns, and minimize deviations from timelines.
• Resource and Subcontractor Management: Identify, allocate, and manage resources efficiently to overcome execution challenges. Select, coordinate, and oversee subcontractors to ensure high service standards and seamless project integration.
• Market and Stakeholder Engagement: Stay agile and responsive to dynamic market demands, closely coordinating with stakeholders to deliver faster solutions and meet customer expectations for timely deliveries.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical proficiency, commercial acumen, and leadership experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience: 4 to 8 years of experience in project engineering, field execution, commissioning, or industrial projects. Familiarity with the Middle East region and experience working with customers and contractors in this area is highly advantageous.
• Technical and Commercial Expertise: Strong technical knowledge, negotiation skills, and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex projects and stakeholder dynamics.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Italian is preferred, reflecting our global reach and customer base.
• Safety and Compliance: Deep understanding of safety standards and quality requirements to ensure projects meet the highest benchmarks.
• Adaptability and Resilience: Willingness to travel extensively, work on-site, and manage the physical and psychological demands of a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
