Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Designing and Delivering Exceptional Lessons: Craft and execute dynamic, interactive, and curriculum-aligned Mathematics lessons tailored to Grades 4, 5, and 6. Utilize a blend of practical examples, real-world applications, and hands-on activities to deepen student understanding and retention.
• Fostering Independent and Critical Thinking: Encourage students to explore mathematical concepts independently, ask insightful questions, and develop a growth mindset through collaborative and inquiry-based learning approaches.
• Assessing and Supporting Student Progress: Evaluate student performance through quizzes, examinations, and ongoing assessments. Provide constructive feedback, personalized support, and targeted interventions to help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
• Adapting to Diverse Learning Needs: Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying skill levels, ensuring every student—whether advanced or requiring additional support—receives a challenging yet accessible learning experience.
• Collaborating for Student Success: Work closely with academic leadership, fellow educators, and parents to align teaching strategies with school-wide goals and enhance student outcomes.
• Maintaining a Positive and Structured Classroom: Cultivate a welcoming, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment that encourages participation, respect, and intellectual curiosity.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field, with a deep and specialized understanding of the subject matter.
• Minimum 2 years of Mathematics teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting where British or American curricula are followed.
• Proven experience teaching elementary or lower-middle-school students, with a particular emphasis on Grades 4–6, where your ability to connect with young learners will be paramount.
• Exceptional English communication skills, including clear pronunciation, confident classroom delivery, and the ability to explain complex ideas with simplicity and clarity.
• A student-focused teaching style that prioritizes engagement, interaction, and hands-on learning over rote memorization or scripted instruction.
• Strong classroom management abilities to maintain order, foster respect, and create an atmosphere conducive to learning.
• The capacity to develop mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills in students, equipping them with lifelong analytical tools.
• Availability to work in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with a willingness to relocate if required.
