As a key member of the project leadership team, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Proposal Manager, and cross-functional stakeholders to establish a robust planning framework. Your responsibilities span the entire project spectrum, from initial bid phase documentation to real-time progress monitoring and corrective action implementation. By fostering a culture of schedule awareness and accountability, you will ensure seamless execution while adapting to evolving project dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Phase Leadership:

• Initiate project control activities upon receiving the invitation to the kick-off meeting (KOM), setting the foundation for a structured and compliant project timeline.
• Systematically catalog and document critical project information, ensuring all bid-phase deliverables are organized in a dedicated repository for easy access and reference.
• Develop a comprehensive Road Map Program that outlines key milestones, including engineering phases, procurement, construction/fabrication, offshore logistics, commissioning, and project completion—aligning with contractual deadlines and internal baselines.
• Create and refine the Internal Program based on the project’s Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Program Breakdown Structure (PBS), tailoring activities to the Scope of Work for precision and efficiency.
• Prepare an initial engineering and procurement program grounded in deliverables lists and equipment summaries, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Conduct a Client Program Gap Analysis, comparing internal timelines with client expectations to identify critical risks and dependencies, empowering the Proposal Manager with actionable insights.
• Finalize the Project Program and compile supplementary documentation, including Primavera P6 files, program narratives, and labor histograms, to support transparent reporting and stakeholder communication.

Execution Phase Excellence:

• Define and align project objectives with the Scope of Work, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements and internal standards.
• Allocate resources strategically based on project control criteria, optimizing team composition for maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Establish and maintain the Project Baseline Program, serving as the authoritative reference for progress tracking and change management.
• Monitor real-time project status, updating progress reports and adjusting the baseline program to reflect evolving project conditions.
• Leverage KPI analysis, trend forecasting, and simulation models to provide the Project Manager and Control Team with accurate projections, enabling proactive decision-making.
• Collaborate with the Project Control Manager and Cost Control Engineer to compile invoicing packages, ensuring financial and contractual compliance.
• Develop the Start-Up Action Plan, including WBS/CBS definitions, project procedures, and documentation frameworks, to streamline handover and operational readiness.
• Define the project’s cut-off date calendar and calculate physical progress metrics using discipline-specific credit rules to ensure transparency and accountability.
