Reporting to the Civil and Structural Design/Technical Manager and working closely with the Senior Civil Engineer, you will ensure seamless coordination, technical compliance, and on-site problem-solving to meet project milestones with precision.

As a key member of the construction team, your expertise will be instrumental in bridging the gap between design intent and real-world execution. This role demands a proactive approach to site challenges, technical documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination, ensuring that every aspect of the project aligns with approved specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on **site-based civil engineering support**, where you will:

• Provide real-time technical guidance to construction teams, addressing RFIs (Requests for Information), clarifications, and on-site discrepancies with clarity and efficiency.
• Conduct rigorous reviews of civil infrastructure works—such as roads, pavements, drainage systems, and utilities—to verify adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Identify and escalate site issues, non-conformances, or potential clashes with other disciplines (e.g., structural, architectural, or MEPF) to ensure coordinated and conflict-free execution.
• Support inspections, testing, and quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of workmanship and compliance.
• Develop and refine technical documentation, including sketches, redline drawings, and simple civil details (e.g., utility diversions, temporary works, or level adjustments) to facilitate smooth construction progress.
• Assist in drafting and updating as-built records, ensuring accurate reflection of site conditions and modifications for future reference.
• Leverage CAD/Revit/Civil 3D tools to produce clear, coordinated drawings and resolve technical challenges efficiently without over-reliance on dedicated drafting resources.

Collaboration and Technical Leadership

Beyond site execution, you will contribute to **shop drawing reviews, submittals, and as-built documentation**, ensuring all deliverables align with design intent and regulatory compliance. This includes:

• Assisting in the preparation and tracking of technical responses to RFIs, Technical Queries (TQs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Facilitating cross-disciplinary coordination with structural, architectural, MEPF, and temporary works teams to prevent execution conflicts and optimize project workflows.
• Maintaining comprehensive records of technical correspondence, site decisions, and project documentation to support transparency and accountability.
• Promoting continuous improvement by participating in lessons learned sessions and sharing best practices in civil construction quality and execution.
