In this pivotal role, you will lead our organization’s cybersecurity defense and assurance initiatives, ensuring robust protection against evolving threats while driving proactive security strategies to safeguard our digital assets. As the Cybersecurity Defense & Assurance Manager, you will oversee a comprehensive suite of security operations, blending threat intelligence, incident response, and continuous improvement to fortify our defenses against cyber threats.

Your responsibilities will encompass strategic oversight of threat monitoring and detection, ensuring that emerging threats are swiftly identified, analyzed, and mitigated before they escalate. You will lead the coordination of cyber incident response efforts, guiding a high-performing incident response team to contain, eradicate, and recover from threats with precision and efficiency. By managing and refining our threat intelligence feeds, you will identify critical gaps in knowledge and leverage insights into threat actor behavior to enhance our intelligence collection and reporting capabilities.

Proactive threat hunting will be a cornerstone of your role, as you drive initiatives to identify potential vulnerabilities and emerging threats before they materialize into full-blown incidents. Utilizing advanced threat intelligence and behavioral analytics, you will continuously assess and adapt our detection and response capabilities to stay ahead of evolving attack vectors. Additionally, you will direct digital forensics investigations, analyzing malicious activities, system vulnerabilities, and exploitation techniques to support comprehensive incident response and recovery efforts.

As a key stakeholder in security assurance, you will optimize and safeguard our cybersecurity assets and functions across the organization. Clear and impactful communication will be essential as you translate security findings and the business implications of vulnerabilities to leadership, management, and IT teams, facilitating timely remediation and alignment with strategic objectives.

You will also oversee the planning and execution of critical security assessments, including Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Red Teaming exercises, and configuration reviews across all organizational assets. This role demands a strategic mindset, a deep technical expertise, and the ability to lead with both authority and collaboration to ensure our cybersecurity posture remains resilient and adaptive.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Lead threat monitoring and detection efforts to identify and address emerging cyber threats in real-time.
• Direct incident response operations, ensuring effective containment, eradication, and recovery from cyber incidents.
• Manage and enhance threat intelligence feeds, leveraging insights into threat actors to improve security posture.
• Drive proactive threat hunting initiatives to preemptively identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
• Continuously improve threat detection and response capabilities to adapt to evolving attack vectors.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years in cybersecurity, with a specialized focus on Cybersecurity Defense and Assurance.
