Key Responsibilities:

You will oversee the efficient and safe operation of machinery, ensuring alignment with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Your role encompasses a range of critical tasks designed to maintain productivity, quality, and safety across the production floor. Key duties include:

• Machine Operation and Monitoring: Operate and continuously monitor machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. Adhere strictly to operational protocols to minimize downtime and maximize output.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications. Identify any deviations and take immediate corrective action to maintain product integrity.
• Operational Excellence: Perform routine machine adjustments and operational checks to optimize performance. Address minor technical issues promptly to prevent disruptions in production workflows.
• Data Management: Accurately record production data, including output metrics, operational hours, and any anomalies encountered. Compile and submit detailed reports to management for analysis and decision-making.
• Safety and Compliance: Uphold all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols at all times. Conduct regular safety checks and ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Issue Resolution: Promptly report machine breakdowns, technical malfunctions, or operational inefficiencies to the Supervisor or Maintenance Team. Collaborate with maintenance personnel to resolve issues and restore production capabilities.
• Shift Work: Demonstrate flexibility by working across various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required by production demands.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Formal training in machinery operation or manufacturing processes is a significant advantage.
• Professional Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing environment. Prior experience with automated or semi-automated machinery is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems. Familiarity with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines or similar technology is a plus.
• Safety Awareness: A robust sense of safety consciousness, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential hazards in the workplace.
• Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to contribute to team goals during all hours of operation.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Keen analytical abilities to troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
