Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, blending technical leadership with strategic project management:

• Strategic Project Leadership: Lead the planning, design, and execution of complex road infrastructure projects, including alignment studies, geometric and pavement design, and drainage systems, while adhering to international standards and client-specific requirements. Conduct comprehensive feasibility assessments, traffic impact analyses, and risk evaluations to optimize project outcomes and mitigate potential challenges.
• Construction Excellence: Provide hands-on technical oversight during the construction phase, conducting regular site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering specifications, contractual obligations, and quality control protocols. Implement rigorous quality assurance frameworks to guarantee that construction activities are executed with the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and precision.
• Traffic and Safety Innovation: Develop and deploy advanced traffic management plans and safety protocols to minimize disruptions and uphold the safety of road users, construction personnel, and the public. Monitor traffic flow, temporary signage, and diversion routes, proactively addressing operational challenges to maintain seamless roadway functionality during construction phases.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with clients, regulatory authorities, and community stakeholders by actively engaging with their needs and expectations. Facilitate transparent communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, delivering regular progress updates, technical insights, and presentations to ensure alignment and trust.
• Project Delivery Excellence: Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources with strategic foresight, identifying risks early and implementing mitigation strategies to achieve on-time, on-budget delivery. Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to integrate technical expertise with operational efficiency, ensuring projects not only meet but exceed client expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a distinguished professional with a proven track record in road engineering, distinguished by:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a Master’s degree strongly preferred to reflect advanced technical expertise.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in road engineering, with a specialized focus on site supervision and construction consultancy, demonstrating a deep understanding of project delivery in dynamic environments.
• A professional engineering license or equivalent certification, validating your credibility and adherence to industry standards.
• Extensive knowledge of road design principles, construction methodologies, and maintenance practices, including proficiency in relevant codes, regulations, and international standards.
• Technical proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and specialized road engineering tools, enabling you to translate complex data into actionable solutions.
• Exceptional project management skills, with a proven ability to lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams, manage complex budgets, and deliver projects with precision and innovation.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust with clients, stakeholders, and team members while navigating diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes.
