We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Therapeutic Area Partner (TAP) for Cardiovascular based in Riyadh to play a pivotal role in advancing our cardiovascular portfolio. This field-based position will focus on fostering scientific exchanges, promoting BMS products, and engaging with key stakeholders to drive adoption and optimal use of our therapies. As the primary liaison for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), you will be instrumental in enhancing engagement, addressing knowledge gaps, and ensuring the safe and effective utilization of BMS cardiovascular solutions.
In this dynamic role, you will spend a minimum of 90% of your time in the field, interacting directly with HCPs, including physicians, clinical pharmacists, echo technicians, and other multidisciplinary teams. Your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional medical outreach to encompass strategic partnerships, market insights, and collaborative problem-solving to overcome access barriers and drive product penetration.
Key Responsibilities
As the Therapeutic Area Partner, your role will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic and operational duties:
- Scientific Engagement and Advocacy: Deliver compelling, evidence-based scientific messaging to HCPs to promote BMS cardiovascular brands, ensuring alignment with clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Market and Therapeutic Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of cardiovascular diseases, treatment landscapes, and BMS products to address HCP inquiries with precision and confidence.
- Strategic Territory Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan tailored to agreed metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), prioritizing high-impact accounts and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and nurture partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), physicians, pharmacists, and other critical stakeholders to position BMS as a trusted strategic ally in cardiovascular care.
- Educational Initiatives: Identify and bridge knowledge gaps within your territory by designing and implementing targeted educational programs that address the evolving needs of HCPs.
- Formulary and Access Support: Collaborate with internal teams, including access, medical, and marketing, to facilitate formulary enlisting and ensure seamless product availability across prescribers and accounts.
- Market Insights and Feedback: Gather actionable medical insights from the field to inform internal strategy development and enhance the overall effectiveness of BMS initiatives.
- Product Launch Support: Actively participate in pre-launch and launch activities for new cardiovascular products, ensuring timely and impactful market introduction.
- Compliance and Integrity: Adhere strictly to BMS Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics, ensuring all activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will be a Saudi National holding a valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) license with a strong background in pharmaceutical sciences, medicine, or a related field. Experience in the cardiovascular therapeutic area, medical affairs, or field-based medical representation is highly valued. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
