Finance Officer – Premium Residential Resort in North Riyadh

As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining meticulous financial records, processing transactions with precision, and supporting strategic financial decision-making. Your work will directly impact the resort’s operational efficiency, ensuring that all financial activities align with regulatory standards and organizational goals. Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of financial duties, including but not limited to:

• Accounts Payable Management: Process vendor invoices with meticulous accuracy, verify supporting documentation, and ensure compliance with approved budgets. Prepare payment instructions and coordinate with banking partners to facilitate timely transactions. Maintain up-to-date vendor master files, payment schedules, and contract documentation while tracking outstanding payables and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
• Accounts Receivable Support: Lead invoicing, receipting, and payment reconciliation processes, ensuring seamless tenant payment handling. Issue receipts, manage deposits, and process refunds while maintaining precise payment records. Collaborate with the collections team to support receivables documentation and reporting.
• Financial Record-Keeping & Reconciliation: Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and perform regular transaction reconciliations to ensure financial integrity. Generate daily cash position reports and monitor bank account activity closely. Reconcile utility invoices, meter readings, and tenant rebilling calculations to maintain financial accuracy. Organize financial documentation to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
• Reporting & Financial Analysis: Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and budget variance reports, contributing to data-driven financial planning. Support cash flow forecasting and collaborate on financial strategy initiatives. Maintain both electronic and physical filing systems to ensure easy access to critical financial documentation for internal and external audits.
• Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all transactions comply with Saudi Arabian tax regulations, including VAT, e-invoicing, and withholding tax (WHT). Support statutory filing requirements and maintain comprehensive documentation for audit trails and regulatory reviews. Implement and uphold financial policies and internal control procedures to mitigate risks.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Interface with facilities management contractors to verify invoices and coordinate payments. Collaborate with property, leasing, and operations teams on financial matters, providing timely responses to internal queries regarding payments, invoices, and account status. Remain adaptable to additional financial tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Key Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of three years of experience in real estate accounting, property finance, or facilities management financial operations, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the KSA or GCC property management sector.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
• Proven proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes, with a strong understanding of financial workflows.
• Familiarity with property management systems such as Yardi or Yarn, or similar platforms, is essential.
• A solid grasp of Saudi Arabian tax and compliance requirements, including VAT, e-invoicing, and withholding tax (WHT), is mandatory.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, with Arabic proficiency being a significant advantage.
• An exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial transactions.
