As a CAFM Engineer at Egis, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems to streamline workflows and ensure seamless facility operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in integrating advanced software solutions with real-world facility management challenges, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

You will lead the following critical tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our facilities:

• System Implementation and Configuration: Design, deploy, and configure CAFM software solutions tailored to Egis’ operational needs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.
• Data Management and Integration: Manage and maintain comprehensive facility data within the CAFM system, including asset tracking, maintenance schedules, and space utilization analytics. Ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems for unified data visibility.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in facility management processes and propose innovative solutions using CAFM technology to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and minimize operational costs.
• Reporting and Analytics: Develop and analyze performance reports to provide actionable insights for facility management teams. Utilize data analytics to forecast maintenance needs, optimize resource allocation, and support strategic decision-making.
• User Training and Support: Train facility management staff and stakeholders on CAFM system functionalities, ensuring user adoption and proficiency. Provide ongoing technical support to resolve issues and troubleshoot system-related challenges.
• Compliance and Auditing: Ensure CAFM systems adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies. Conduct regular audits to validate data accuracy, system performance, and compliance with organizational requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging CAFM technologies and industry trends. Recommend and implement upgrades or enhancements to improve system capabilities and align with evolving business needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience (3+ years) in CAFM system implementation, configuration, and maintenance. Proficiency in leading CAFM software platforms such as Maximo, IBM Tivoli, or similar solutions.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with database management, scripting (e.g., SQL, Python), and familiarity with IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, including facility managers, IT personnel, and external vendors. Ability to train and mentor users on system functionalities.
• Project Management: Experience managing CAFM-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of facility management regulations, standards, and best practices relevant to the Middle East region.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an asset.
