Master-Works is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will lead the transformation of our infrastructure, processes, and culture to foster a seamless, scalable, and secure DevOps environment. As a key contributor, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring rapid, reliable, and efficient software delivery while optimizing performance and reducing downtime.

In this strategic position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software engineers, product managers, and IT operations—to design, implement, and maintain robust DevOps pipelines. Your expertise will be instrumental in automating deployment workflows, enhancing CI/CD processes, and introducing cutting-edge tools and methodologies that align with industry best practices. Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and Implement DevOps Solutions: Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient DevOps pipelines that streamline software delivery and enhance operational agility.
• Automation and Tooling: Lead the adoption of automation tools, including but not limited to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible, to optimize infrastructure provisioning, testing, and deployment processes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Champion the shift to Infrastructure as Code, ensuring consistency, reproducibility, and version control across all environments.
• CI/CD Pipeline Optimization: Develop and refine continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to accelerate release cycles while maintaining high standards for quality and reliability.
• Cloud and Hybrid Environments: Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to design and manage hybrid or multi-cloud architectures that support business growth and scalability.
• Security and Compliance: Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies while mitigating risks.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring, logging, and observability tools to track system health, performance metrics, and incident resolution, ensuring proactive issue management.
• Collaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the DevOps practice within the organization.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Design and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to ensure minimal downtime and data loss.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on automation, cloud technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), orchestration tools, and scripting (Bash, Python, or Go). Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• CI/CD Expertise: Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions, along with a solid understanding of version control systems (Git).
• Security and Compliance: Knowledge of security principles, encryption, access control, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR).
• Monitoring and Observability: Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and logging solutions (ELK Stack, Splunk) to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities. Ability to mentor and guide teams, as well as collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
