Key Responsibilities:

• Kafka Architecture & Implementation: Design, deploy, and maintain robust Kafka clusters to support real-time event streaming, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability for enterprise-grade applications.
• Confluence Integration: Develop and optimize connectors between Kafka and IBM Confluence to enable real-time content updates, metadata synchronization, and collaborative workflow automation.
• Data Pipeline Optimization: Analyze and enhance existing data pipelines to improve throughput, reduce latency, and ensure seamless integration with Confluence’s knowledge management capabilities.
• Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with product and engineering teams to identify opportunities for leveraging Kafka to enhance Confluence’s functionality, such as versioning, access control, and AI-driven insights.
• Cloud & DevOps Excellence: Implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions, and monitoring tools to ensure Kafka deployments align with cloud-native best practices.
• Performance & Reliability: Conduct performance testing, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement best practices to maintain system stability and scalability in high-demand environments.

• Hands-on experience with **cloud platforms** (AWS, Azure, or IBM Cloud) and DevOps practices like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Familiarity with **real-time data processing** frameworks, event sourcing, or CQRS architectures is a significant advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset to bridge technical and business requirements.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) and proficiency in Arabic is a plus for the Riyadh-based role.
