Key Responsibilities

In this strategic role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SCADA and RTU engineering solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Engineering Solutions Design: Lead the conceptualization and feasibility testing of advanced SCADA and RTU systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure while driving operational efficiency and reliability.
• System Architecture & Design: Develop scalable SCADA layouts, intuitive HMI graphics, robust alarm management strategies, and seamless database linkages. Demonstrate deep expertise in technical documentation, including P&IDs, FLDs, logic diagrams, and C&E matrices, to ensure consistency and accuracy across projects.
• Technical Leadership & Governance: Mentor and guide cross-functional engineering teams, establishing and enforcing coding and technical standards across multiple global sites. Conduct thorough reviews of design inputs, identifying discrepancies and collaborating with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
• Engineering Standards & Compliance: Contribute to the analysis, drafting, and evaluation of engineering standards and specifications, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements. Act as a subject matter expert to inform internal processes and external partnerships.
• Quality Assurance & Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections with clients to assess the integrity of engineering works and installations, providing actionable recommendations to ensure compliance with specifications and industry regulations.
• Needs Assessment & Problem-Solving: Proactively identify operational challenges, analyze root causes, and propose innovative solutions to enhance system performance and resilience.
• Contract & Vendor Management: Collaborate with Project and Control Managers to oversee contract service providers, ensuring timely delivery of outcomes while adhering to contract management frameworks.
• Knowledge Management: Integrate lessons learned from past projects into Yokogawa’s knowledge management systems, fostering continuous improvement and best-practice adoption.
