Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all receivables-related activities. Key responsibilities include:

• Billing & Receivables Processing: Generate and issue precise customer invoices, credit notes, and supporting documentation in strict alignment with contractual agreements, purchase orders, and approved timesheets. Ensure accurate recording of receivable transactions, categorizing them by customer account, project, revenue code, cost center, and VAT treatment. Submit invoices through designated customer portals and meticulously monitor acceptance, rejection, and required corrections to maintain seamless billing workflows.
• Collections, Cash Application & Reconciliation: Apply customer payments accurately and reconcile bank collections, remittances, and unidentified deposits to maintain financial integrity. Monitor customer accounts, reconcile statements, and address discrepancies in balances, deductions, and disputed items. Actively manage aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices with customers, sales teams, operations, and project stakeholders to expedite resolutions. Investigate billing and collection issues collaboratively, coordinating with relevant teams to resolve disputes and missing documentation promptly. Support credit-control reviews, enforce customer credit limits, and escalate collection risks to mitigate financial exposure. Develop and provide reliable collection forecasts to inform cash-flow and working-capital planning initiatives.
• Closing, Compliance & Reporting: Assist in month-end closing processes, ensuring the accounts-receivable subledger aligns seamlessly with the general ledger. Maintain comprehensive records for VAT compliance, ZATCA e-invoicing requirements, audits, confirmations, and document retention policies. Prepare and analyze aging, collection, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and customer-balance reports, leveraging insights to recommend process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and a customer-centric mindset. We are seeking a motivated professional with:

• A **Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field**, complemented by **2-5 years of hands-on experience** in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or general accounting.
• Proven proficiency in **ERP systems**, **advanced Excel skills** (including data analysis, pivot tables, and automation), and a strong command of **English** for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• An ability to work collaboratively across departments, troubleshoot complex financial issues, and implement process improvements to drive operational excellence.
• Familiarity with **VAT and ZATCA e-invoicing regulations** in Saudi Arabia is highly advantageous.
