In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with senior project managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution from design conceptualization to on-site implementation. Your expertise will be instrumental in bridging the gap between technical specifications and real-world construction, fostering efficiency, compliance, and excellence at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

As the Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Technical Leadership: Conduct rigorous reviews of engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design packages for water infrastructure components such as pipelines, pump stations, valves, and storage facilities. Ensure full compliance with project requirements, international standards, and local regulations to maintain the highest quality and safety benchmarks.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between client representatives, contractors, sub-consultants, and internal engineering teams. Facilitate transparent communication, resolve technical queries, and align all parties toward project success in a multicultural and collaborative environment.
• On-Site Oversight: Perform regular site visits to monitor construction progress, enforce adherence to approved designs, and uphold stringent safety protocols. Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges in the field to minimize disruptions and ensure project continuity.
• Schedule and Performance Management: Track project timelines, contractor milestones, and progress metrics with precision. Anticipate potential delays, implement proactive solutions, and ensure that the project remains on schedule and within budget.
• Documentation and Compliance: Manage and expedite the review of Requests for Information (RFIs), material submittals, and shop drawings to streamline approval processes and keep construction activities on track. Compile and submit comprehensive weekly and monthly progress reports, technical memos, and presentations to Parsons leadership and clients.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure projects, with a strong foundation in water infrastructure development. Demonstrated expertise in project execution, quality assurance, and technical oversight is essential.
