الوصف الوظيفي
Join Lucid Motors and Redefine the Future of Automotive Excellence
At Lucid Motors, we are pioneering a new era of mobility with cutting-edge technology and a relentless commitment to innovation. Our award-winning vehicles, including the Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity, embody our philosophy of Compromise Nothing™—where performance, sustainability, design, and engineering excellence converge seamlessly. By fostering a culture of vertical integration, we bring together global talent to design, engineer, and manufacture vehicles that set new benchmarks in the automotive industry. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are passionate about shaping the future of transportation, we invite you to contribute your expertise as an NVH Technician in our Chassis team.
As an NVH Technician at Lucid’s Advanced Manufacturing Plant 2 (AMP2) in Saudi Arabia, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of vehicle refinement through proactive Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) management. Working closely with NVH Engineers and cross-functional teams, you will diagnose, analyze, and resolve NVH issues across the entire product lifecycle—from development to mass production—while safeguarding our production lines from potential quality defects. Your contributions will directly enhance the driving experience for Lucid customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will demand a blend of technical precision, analytical rigor, and collaborative problem-solving. Key responsibilities include:
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, vests, gloves, and hard hats as required. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in alignment with Lucid’s 6S standards.
- NVH Testing and Diagnosis: Execute comprehensive NVH testing protocols to identify and localize sources of noise, vibration, and harshness. Utilize advanced tools such as accelerometers, microphones, and data acquisition systems to capture and analyze vehicle performance metrics. Conduct root cause analysis for both pre-delivery and field-reported issues, ensuring alignment with Lucid’s rigorous quality standards.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, and Repair Teams to address NVH concerns systematically. Assist NVH Engineers in validating countermeasures and documenting findings to improve future vehicle iterations.
- Equipment Maintenance and Process Improvement: Ensure the proper maintenance of NVH testing equipment, tools, and instruments. Provide actionable feedback to manufacturing teams to refine NVH-related processes and enhance overall vehicle quality.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer: Train new hires from Quality and Production teams on NVH inspection methodologies, acceptance criteria, and best practices to uphold Lucid’s high standards.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead complex NVH issues with clarity and precision, communicating effectively across all levels of the organization to drive continuous improvement.
What You Bring to the Team
To excel in this role, you will bring a unique combination of technical expertise, hands-on experience, and a collaborative mindset. We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Education and Experience: A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, complemented by 5+ years of automotive experience with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Experience in a greenfield plant is a significant advantage. Minimum 3 years of direct experience in NVH diagnostics and troubleshooting is mandatory.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven expertise in NVH testing methodologies, including order tracking, FFT analysis, and transfer path analysis. Hands-on experience with electrical vehicle (EV) NVH testing, particularly in areas such as e-motor noise, inverter switching noise, road/tire noise, and battery pack vibration.
- Analytical and Diagnostic Skills: Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and NVH data to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to articulate findings and recommendations clearly. A natural leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and can drive projects to completion under tight deadlines.
- Attitude and Adaptability: Creative, energetic, and self-motivated with a high degree of organization. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where innovation and excellence are paramount.
At Lucid Motors, we are more than just building vehicles—we are crafting the future of transportation. If you are eager to join a team that refuses to compromise on quality, innovation, or impact, we encourage you to apply and be part of our mission to redefine what’s possible in automotive engineering.
