Join our dynamic team as a **Linux OS System Administrator**, where you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our enterprise-grade RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) infrastructure. This is a **24/7/365** position requiring expertise in high-availability environments, SAP support, and advanced clustering solutions. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will ensure seamless system performance, security, and compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.

In this demanding yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of RHEL servers and clusters, including **Pacemaker-based high-availability configurations**, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Your responsibilities will span installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance—all while adhering to stringent cybersecurity standards and enterprise-grade best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of technical and operational duties, including but not limited to:

• Enterprise Linux Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain **RHEL 7, 8, and 9** environments, including **Pacemaker clusters**, to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
• SAP & SAP HANA Support: Provide dedicated support for **SAP, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA** deployments running on RHEL, ensuring seamless integration and high availability.
• Proactive Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor system health, performance metrics, and logs to identify and resolve issues before they impact operations. Implement **automated monitoring solutions (SCOM, AppDynamics)** and **patch management workflows** to maintain system integrity.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce **cybersecurity best practices**, including firewall configurations, user permissions, and file integrity monitoring. Ensure compliance with **NCA, NIC, and SEC cybersecurity regulations** while maintaining secure access controls and audit trails.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Oversee backup and recovery processes to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or cyber threats.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with **ERP, application, database, and web hosting teams** to troubleshoot complex issues, conduct scheduled maintenance, and optimize deployment processes.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: Develop and maintain **technical documentation**, including system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides, to support team knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Vendor & Ticket Management: Act as the primary point of contact for **Red Hat support tickets**, including log collection, troubleshooting, and follow-up to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Lifecycle Management: Plan and execute **OS upgrades, decommissioning, and infrastructure scaling** while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
• User & Policy Administration: Create, modify, and deactivate **user accounts and group policies** in alignment with organizational security standards.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this position, you must meet the following **essential requirements**:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field**.
• Experience: **3-5+ years** of hands-on experience in **Linux System Administration (RHEL/CentOS)** within an **enterprise environment**, with a focus on high-availability clusters and SAP deployments.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Deep expertise in **RHEL 7, 8, and 9**, including **Pacemaker clustering** and **Red Hat HA extensions**.
• Proven experience supporting **SAP, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA** on RHEL platforms.
• Strong skills in **OS installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and patch management**.
• Familiarity with **monitoring tools (SCOM, AppDynamics)** and **management platforms (SCCM)**.
• Experience with **user/group account management** and **access control policies**.
• Soft Skills & Compliance:
• Ability to work in a **24/7/365 shift-based environment** with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional **documentation skills**, including technical design and operational documentation.
• Strong **collaboration and communication** abilities to interface with cross-functional teams.
• Awareness of **cybersecurity regulations (NCA, NIC, SEC)** and adherence to compliance protocols.

While not mandatory, the following **preferred qualifications** will be highly regarded:
