Key Responsibilities:

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of duties, ensuring both clinical excellence and operational efficiency:

• Patient-Centered Care: Provide clear, empathetic explanations of ultrasound procedures to patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-prepared. Position patients appropriately and select the most effective imaging techniques to achieve accurate diagnostic results.
• Technical Expertise: Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with precision, prioritizing patient safety and comfort. Special focus will be placed on obstetric, gynecological (OB/GYN), and breast ultrasound procedures, where your experience will be instrumental in delivering reliable outcomes.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous records of patient data and examination findings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to departmental protocols. Monitor patient vitals and document results in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in quality assurance programs to refine diagnostic processes and enhance patient care standards. Contribute to physical inventories and supply management to ensure the clinic operates smoothly.
• Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly to technical support. Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound technology to optimize performance.
• Professional Development: Commit to ongoing professional growth through workshops, seminars, and industry affiliations. Stay current with medical ethics, disease processes, and emerging ultrasound techniques to elevate your expertise.
• Collaborative Support: Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines. Assist in additional duties as required to support the seamless functioning of the clinic.

Qualification Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Hold a Bachelor of Science in Radiological Technology or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in diagnostic imaging.
• Experience: Possess at least one year of relevant professional experience, with a proven track record in performing ultrasound procedures independently.
• Certifications: Be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• Licensure: Hold a valid Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) registration, confirming your eligibility to practice in Saudi Arabia.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in general, vascular, musculoskeletal (MSK), and pediatric ultrasound examinations will be highly valued, broadening your impact across diverse patient populations.
