Associate – Project Finance & Financial Advisory

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering complex financial advisory and project finance solutions. As an Associate, you will collaborate closely with senior professionals, clients, and stakeholders to drive transaction execution, enhance client relationships, and identify strategic business development opportunities. Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on transaction delivery, project management, and client engagement, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include:

• Transaction Delivery and Project Management: Act as a bridge between internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders—including off-takers, lenders, and investors—to ensure alignment and timely project development. Leverage your understanding of commercial and contractual frameworks, particularly in project financing, to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes.
• Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop and refine sophisticated financial models by dissecting key business drivers and conducting rigorous scenario and sensitivity analyses. Ensure models adhere to project documentation, accounting standards, and taxation principles to support informed decision-making.
• Client Interaction and Solution Design: Engage directly with client teams to grasp their evolving needs and priorities, working under the guidance of senior leadership to design tailored solutions. Proactively address challenges and propose innovative approaches to meet client objectives.
• Business Development and Market Insights: Conduct in-depth research on sectors, geographies, competitors, and client trends to identify strategic opportunities. Contribute to proposal development for potential clients, leveraging your analytical insights to position our firm as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Finance or a related field, with a strong academic foundation in financial modeling and project evaluation.
• 3 to 7+ years of relevant experience in Project Finance or Financial Advisory, preferably within international banks, investment firms, or corporate advisory environments. Experience with Public-Private Partnership (PPP) frameworks is a significant advantage.
• Proven financial modeling acumen, including the ability to build and validate complex models under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data-driven insights and translate them into actionable strategies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively at all levels—from technical teams to senior executives and external partners.
• A client-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that exceed expectations.
